Deep Cuts: Vol. 1 Italy - Feb. 6th
With over 500 officially registered indigenous grape varieties and counting, Italy easily tops the charts for range in the wine world. It is a special wine-producing country to us because for all the well-known wines (Brunello, Barolo, lookin’ at you!) there are infinitely more lesser-known styles and cool, unknown pockets, and often those styles are what excite us most!
Following up the Underdogs + Deep Cuts class that touches on the many lesser known styles around the world, we’re introducing this new batch of classes (yep, there will be other regions coming soon!) to dig into the great unknown and show you the wines we think you should be drinking.
Whether you know the Italian greatest hits and want to learn more, or are just curious to find fun new bottles to try, this class will take you on a road-trip through the sunshine, mountains, and Mediterranean coastline that make Italian wine super special. We’ll taste through five wines that we hope become your new favourites.
This is a two-hour evening class hosted on Thursday, Feb. 6th, 2025
6pm-8pm in Chinatown, Vancouver, BC.
Must be 19+
