What we care about

Practical Knowledge

We value wine education that promotes Vancouver as a world-class wine destination as well as provides an open and inclusive space in which wine enthusiasts can learn in a way that is fun, practical, and approachable. We are on a mission to bring wine culture to the masses. .

Mentorship

As wine educators, we hope to provide guidance and mentorship to folks looking to pursue a career in the wine and hospitality industry as well as providing the tools for all people looking to deepen their wine knowledge. Together, we can contribute to a stronger wine culture in our part of the world.

Our Impact

We care a great deal about the people, products, and organizations with which we partner. We believe our small business has the opportunity to support positive and inclusive change in the wine industry. We will continue to make choices from the wines we pour to the ideas we promote that are based on inclusivity, diversity, and positive environmental impact.

All classes are held at 265 E Pender in Vancouver, Chinatown

We acknowledge that the City of Vancouver and our business are both located on the shared, unceded, and ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

As settlers, we aim to honour the traditional custodians of this land and to learn from their teachings, whilst attempting to undo some of the damage within ours. We recognize agriculture, wine, education, and the many realms in which we operate are historically exclusionary, white, and euro-centric. We strive and work to make our classroom one that de-centers this notion and moves forward in a more inclusive future.
